The greatest treasure

"Get wisdom, get understanding;
    do not forget my words or swerve from them.
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
    love her, and she will watch over you.
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
    Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Esteem her, and she will exalt you;
    embrace her, and she will honor you.
She will set a garland of grace on your head
    and present you with a crown of splendor.”-Proverbs 4:5-9

Wisdom costs.  You have to work for her, but she is beyond worth. She will cost you everything. She will even bring you out of your bubble. She is of the highest treasure to be possessed.  Gain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Seek them, strive after them, live them out, use them....Great is the man who does.

How can we have this wisdom?  Proverbs is a wonderful place to start.
My opinion? Seek out the Lord and His ways. This means many things, but first and foremost, it means dwell in His word. Study The Bible. If you are living by The Bible and truly following the Lord, then you will truly posses wisdom.
"Instead, desire first and foremost God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."-Matthew 6:33

(that is in such bold print for no particular reason, other than that i'm to lazy to type it out or make it smaller.)

So, please, join me in this adventure of  listening to the Lord's word, living by it, studying it, and seeking out wisdom.

Knowing the Lord is the greatest treasure a man can have. So, I guess my point is this, those who really know the Lord, know his Wisdom. But better than that, they have this God-given gift.

He who has wisdom has one of the greatest and most valuable treasures there is too have.  The best part is we can all have wisdom. Few do, though.
